The apartment is 7 mins walk from the city center. It is by the sea, less then 1 min walk. Around the area are the most well - known beaches. Also, around the area there are a lot of bars and restaurants with every kind of delicious food. As it is close to the port, travel agencies and bike, motorbike and car rentals are next to the port and very visible and easy to find.

Geographically, the city is located on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea within the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching along the Albanian Ionian Sea Coast, Saranda typically has a Mediterranean climate with over 300 sunny days a year. Sarandë is known for its blue deep waters of the Mediterranean. Near Sarandë is Ksamil is a village and a former municipality in the riviera of Southern Albania, and part of Butrint National Park. Near Sarandë is the beautiful are the remains of the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In recent years, Saranda has seen a steady increase in tourists, many of them coming by cruise ship. Visitors are attracted by the natural environment of Saranda and its archaeological sites.

Albania, is a country that has made a lot of steps regarding LGBTI Movement, and is safe when it comes to LGBTI Tourists, and has many visitors around the year. Although, the local community is hidden because of non-acceptance from their families and society. The LGBTI activists and organizations are very well organised.
