My home is as the title of the listing states. It is centrally located in the North Park District of San Diego about 4 blocks north of Balboa Park and an easily walk-able/bike-able mile from the Hillcrest district. The entire house is for rent. I the host will not be there but available by phone if needed just be aware I'm on the east coast so 3 hours ahead. Additionally, I have some one local to handle more immediate problems that may need to be addressed. There are 2 bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. Both bedrooms have access to the centrally located, shared bathroom between them. That bathrooms has a shower and tub. There is a gas stove, dishwasher, washer & dryer on site. There is also a patio with a BBQ grill. Grocery stores are nearby if you prefer to cook vs dine out. The garage is also available with a remote door access. Be careful if parking in the driveway. Should the car extend into the sidewall and obstructs public sidewalk access, you may well be ticketed. Free public parking is available in the street and handicap parking is available directly in front of the house.

I would describe myself as amicable with more of a hands-off, relaxed approach to hosting. I'm happy to engage my guests to the extent that feels natural. I'm a bit of a homebody but I enjoy venturing out as well and pepper my day with short trips to wherever the mood strikes. As a neatnik I would politely insist you keep the place uncluttered with dishes in the sink or leaving things around the house. My hope is that my guests enjoy thier stay.

As stated; the house in centrally located in the North Park District and within walkable distance of Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, the Hillcrest district many restaurants, clubs and bars. It's a sort 15 minutes or so Uber or Lyft drive from the Dan Diego airport. If you're renting a car you can easily drive to the San Diego Safari Park or the many beaches near the area.

Really enjoyed my stay at John-Paul's beautiful home. I so appreciated how immaculate he kept the place. And I was really touched by how much he went out of his way to make me feel welcome, even going so far as to use his own car to save me a parking spot right in front of his house for my arrival. Nice touch. Many great restaurants are within a 15-20 minute walk in either direction on University Ave. And windows on both sides of my room allowed in tons of light and fresh air.
