Wildernest is a small mountain community composed of year-round homes, second homes, and vacation rentals. Located at the foot of Buffalo Mountain above Silverthorn, it features sweeping views of Lake Dillon and surrounding peaks. It is centrally located for easy access to world class ski areas Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin, and Loveland ski areas (15-25 min. drive to each), and only a 45 minute drive to Vail. White River National Forest land surrounds the neighborhood, with easy access to multiple hiking and mountain biking trails within walking distance from the condo. A quick two mile drive brings you into Silverthorn where you can outlet shop, grab food at an array of restaurants, fish the Blue River, or simply walk around and enjoy the public art. Dillon is just three miles away, featuring a marina, beach, and amphitheater. Frisco is a charming historic town just 7 miles away, with an incredible Main Street filled with shops, restaurants, and historic sights This condo has been updated recently, but retains its vintage charm. There are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and one with queen bunk beds). Both bedrooms have dressers, wall hooks, and comfy chairs. The bedroom with bunk beds also has a small TV. The bathroom features double sinks and a sturdy shower and bathtub. The small two person sauna is located right off the bathroom. The kitchen is a modest size, but with a great layout, and fully stocked. It’s fit for everything from grabbing food on the go, or cooking an elaborate holiday meal. The dining area includes a refurbished mid-mod walnut table with two optional leaves to seat up to 6 people comfortably in Eames style DSW chairs. Perfect for dining or working! The living room includes comfy seating, a wall-mounted smart tv, plus an assortment of books, games, stereo, records, and vintage VCR/VHS videos. The wood burning fireplace is a easy to use, and we provide at least one quick start log to get you started. Extras include a washer/dryer in the main entryway, a large balcony with gas grill and outdoor seating, and a lovely two person sauna attached to the bathroom. We love animals but unfortunately our HOA does not allow guests to bring them into our unit. Thanks for understanding! Our unit has a small in-unit washer and dryer. If you need to do more laundry, there is a laundry room with coin operated machines directly below our unit, accessible by walking around to the back of the building. Like most other homes in this area, this condo is not air conditioned. Our home is a safe space for folks from all minority and marginalized groups. We welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations. This condo is our second home, and we love sharing it with others.
