We are excited to host our beautiful 4 bed 2 bath Thousand Oaks home in a quiet neighborhood with a stunning south-facing mountain-view backyard!
We bought this house 12 months ago as a 1970s relic! It was never an intention to utilize it as a vacation rental or leave it. After a year of hard work renovating we fell in love with it. Our circumstances changed and we didn’t want to sell it, so it made sense to have others enjoy it...so welcome to our little piece of the 1970s Southern California!
If you want to be close to all SoCal has to offer but live in peace, you can't beat this location! We are located in-between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara and just 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of Malibu or Ventura! Just 45 minute's drive will get you to Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, and Hollywood!

Beach time! We’re just 25 minutes from Malibu and 30 minutes from Ventura so it makes sense to hit the beach? We have four Beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and some kids buckets etc on the side of the house by the trash cans Beach towels for the hottub and the beach can be found in the cabinet in the hallways by the bedrooms. Favorite beaches: Zuma - big and wide and plenty of parking Leo Carrillo - one of few dog beaches in Malibu Point Dume State Beach El Matador - stunning rock formations and sunsets
Shopping Vons and Gelsons. A 2 minute drive at the end of the street. Vons is more mainstream, Gelson's more premium. You should be able to find everything you need in either Whole foods is a 10 minute drive, as is Wild Fork which is great for meat and seafood The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks has the big department stores and main brands For a wider shopping experience the Westfield Topanga Mall 20 minutes away in Woodland Hills is one of the biggest and best malls in LA For some bargains, the Outlets at Camarillo are 15 minutes away, vast and full of deals!
All the shopping of LA and Santa Barbara is also just 45 minutes in either direction
Restaurants: We have a few favorites but there are a lot of choices within a 20 minute drive! The Moody Rooster - In Westlake Village. Great concept and amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere. Made in Italy Looks like a strip mall chain but don’t be fooled! We think the Best Italian in Thousand Oaks Nonna’s good Italian, great bar and atmosphere. Coin & Candor - Situated in the Four Seasons hotel Great food and a varied menu Butlers Pizza - David is New Jersey Born and bred so knows good pizza...this is the best pizza we’ve had in California Anabargh - Best Indian we’ve had in the area. Ed is British and knows good Indian

1 dog allowed with prior notice and approval The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood so please make sure to keep outside noise low and there should be no parties in the house or in the yard The Sleeper couch in the open plan living room is for 2 guests. There is a mattress topper and sheets provided, instructions in our book. The grey sectional couch in the front living room is not for guests to sleep on over night. No vaping or smoking of any kind Check Out: Gather used towels: Please place all used towels in the bathtub and shower stall Throw trash away: Please put trash in the cans in the drive - blue recycling, black trash Turn things off: Please switch off lights, make sure hot tub is off (If used) and set thermostat to 72 Lock up: Lock the front door by hitting the yale button on the keypad when you leave make sure all sliding doors are locked and windows closed
