We’re a gay couple happy to host you!

The Cactus Room has a private entrance, a large bathroom, and a private side garden. It’s located in the heart of Santa Barbara, a half mile from the famous Santa Barbara Bowl, a few minutes from the beaches (including More Mesa Nude Beach), and a few blocks from the historic State Street, The Funk Zone, renowned restaurants, and fun bars!

The space

It is a perfect coastal retreat for solo travelers or couples with an independent entrance.

Once you enter the paved front yard, you'll find the Cactus Room nestled quietly with a garden of lively plants. It is the perfect spot to come back to after exploring Santa Barbara. You'll find a new Queen sized mattress, a large closet for your belongings, a dedicated workspace with carefully curated art, and a variety of live plants adding to the overall charm of the space.

The space also features a mini fridge and coffee maker to help you feel at home! The home is surrounded by a new privacy fence, beautiful trees, succulents, and cacti, giving you privacy.

You have a room with a bathroom and a private side yard.

We want our guests to feel as comfortable as possible during their stay, so please reach out if you have any questions or need anything. We will give you privacy but can assist with anything you need.

AMENITIES: We provide towels, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, coffee, and tea.

ENTRY: There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 72 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

PARKING: There is plenty of street parking in front of and surrounding the home. Please take note of street sweeping and time-restricted zones.

THE DRIVE: The house is easy to find and close to the freeway on and off ramps!

INTERNET: The house has reliable high-speed internet throughout the entire space. You can access your Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. accounts with the Smart TV.

OUTDOOR SPACE: The yard is completely enclosed and features a lovely garden & outdoor bistro set!

BEDROOMS: There is one bedroom with a queen bed.

SECURITY: A security camera is located at the front of the house for your protection. There are NO cameras inside the property.
