Michael's Casita, is a private spacious 550 sq. ft. short term vacation rental attached to the host's house. The casita guests do not share any living space with the host. Guests are supplied a door code for keyless entry. All the casita rooms are large; living room, bedroom, closet, and bathroom with a walk in two person shower as pictured. The front and back patios are furnished with vintage Mid Century Modern patio furniture. Most of the bedroom and all of the living room furnishings are authentic vintage Mid Century Modern. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig in the bedroom closet. A limited amount of snacks, water, and coffee supplies are provided. The living room has a large smart television that you can access with your Netflix etc passwords. Wifi is accessible. The vintage Mid Century Modern fireplace is not a working fireplace. The bathroom has a walk in shower with 1970s vintage Italian tile. The 40 feet long and ten feet deep pool does NOT have a heater. The diving board is off limits. The property is on a third of an acre. The neighborhood of Sunset Park is very quiet. On street parking is abundunt and you will be able to park in front of the property. Two miles and a five minute drive from Elenora's Casita to Palm Canyon Drive where numerous nice restaurants and boutiques are located. The Palm Springs airport is a three minute/1.1 miles away. The convention center is one mile drive. It is a ten minute drive to the world's largest rotating ariel tramway which takes you to the top of the majestic Mt. San Jacinto mountain. There is also a monthly guest house rental on the property that may be occupied by up to two guests during the time of your casita rental. Guests will be sharing the outside areas with the host and possible guest house tenants. The casita/studio is attached to the host's house. The casita has its keyless private entry on the front patio. The three gates in front of the property were inspired by Dutch artist, Piet Mondrian. Clothing optional depending on the preference of the snowbird/guest house tenants in the back of the property though the guesthouse is not always rented. One and a half miles from Arenas Road where numerous gay bars and restaurants are located. Fitness Edge Gym is a four minute walk. There is a Palm Springs Transient Occupancy Tax/Hotel Tax of 12.5% that must be paid directly to the host upon arrival. The guest that makes the reservation is required by the city of Palm Springs to send a photo copy of their government ID to the host. City of PS permit ID #********. All guests must sign the Palm Springs Good Neighbor brouchure that will be provided before arrival. This is a no smoking/vaping property.
