There are no cameras in the apartment, but there are cameras in all publicly accessible areas of the building, entrance area, floors and washing machine area for everyone's protection, and check-in can take place at any time of day if desired. After pressing the -2 button, the code 2011 must be entered using the numeric keys. This is the only way to access the washing machine area. The use of the washing machines and dryers is explained in detail on the machines in English and Portuguese. No detergents may or can be added. The machines draw the required detergents themselves from containers in a locked room according to the program. Machines and detergents are from Miele and meet the highest quality standards.
