Some of Our Favorite Restaurants: 1. The Beauty Shop on Cooper Avenue. You won’t be disappointed. 2. Young Avenue Deli, on Young Avenue. This is a great place to grab lunch, or just a cup of coffee. They do have bands play on some nights and we have not been disappointed on the menu. 3. Margarita’s is a great Mexican restaurant bar where you can go to grab a margarita and your favorite Mexican food. Favorite Things to Do: 1. Paradox on Cooper. This place has some great finds, they have eclectic curated merchandise. Everything from artist one-of-a-kind pieces, gift cards, trinkets, and always something new and different. They are on Cooper and the Front door is in the Back of the Store. 2. Take a walk in the Cooper-Young area and explore the shops and many local restaurants. There are some great sites to see here. You’re coming at just the right time because the weather is starting to change, and the plants are beginning to bloom.

Originally from Memphis, I pride myself in knowing all the hidden and not so hidden gems around the city — even though I've been living on the West Coast for more than 15 years. Apparently, I've wasted my entire life until I discovered Wonderland Hall. I can't imagine a better place to stay anywhere. Although the photos are stunning, they don't do the spaces justice. The attention to detail is mind blowing. Every single time I looked around, I discovered something new and beautiful. I've never seen another space like this one. Aside from that, the host, Steven, was beyond reproach. Communication was upbeat and timely. I felt more than welcomed; I felt like a friend — or at least a friend of a friend. If there's ANYTHING in the listing that resonates with you, book it! Seriously. It's more than a place to stay, it's a beautiful experience, AND somehow it's less than the hotel I was considering while delivering so, so, so much more.
