A quiet, spacious guest room with sweeping ocean views—ideal for first-time visitors to Madeira, travelers passing through, hikers, cyclists, or anyone who wants to spend a few relaxing days on the island and plan their next excursions from here.
The room features a built-in closet and a comfortable bed with a high-quality, full-length 150 x 200 cm mattress. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. The view from the room stretches far out over the Atlantic Ocean—one of the most beautiful spots in the house.
You’ll have your own bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The guest room is located in my house; we share the kitchen, living room, and other common areas in a relaxed and respectful manner.
The house is approximately 120 square meters. There’s a large, well-equipped kitchen where you’re welcome to cook together if you’d like. The living room has a TV for streaming. A washer and dryer are available and can be used by arrangement.
Calheta Beach, with its light-colored sand, is about a 10-minute drive away. The drive to the airport takes just under an hour. A small supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a very nice wine bar are within walking distance. There’s also a modern gym nearby that offers short-term rates.
Transfers from the airport or other locations on Madeira are available upon request. Having your own car is convenient, but not absolutely necessary: there’s me, Bolt, taxis—and, of course, your own two feet. :)

The room features a built-in wardrobe and a comfortable bed with a high-quality, one-piece 150 x 200 cm mattress. Bed linens and towels are provided. From the room, you’ll enjoy a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Atlantic—one of the house’s best features.
You’ll have your own private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The room is located in my home; the kitchen, living room, and other shared areas are used together in a relaxed and respectful manner.

The host was kind and helpful, always available if I needed anything, which made the experience even better. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The only downside is the location, which might not be the most convenient depending on your plans. However, aside from that, everything else was great and I would definitely recommend it.

Julius had been a fantastic host, welcoming and friendly, with interesting and nice conversation. He made all his best to make us feel at home and we had a very nice stay at his place. The house is great, comfortable, full of light and with a very large bedroom and bathroom. It was very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was perfect to cook nice meals. Thanks for giving us the information about this village party on Saturday night and for sharing this great evening with you and your friends. It was such a nice souvenir ✨👍 I warmly recommend Julius and his beautiful house to stay in Madeira.

Julius was an excellent host during the all week I stayed in his place. From the super late check in or arrivals after long day, he was always helpful, in a good mood and happy to share about the adventures and life - drinking a good wine. It's a really a feeling you're visiting a relative in the island. The house and our private room is super big, clean and organized. I definitely recommend it and will return for a visit.

I felt welcome at Julius's place from the moment I arrived. Check-in was very straightforward, and communication was always friendly and quick. The room has everything you need, and the bed is very comfortable. I had the large bathroom all to myself. Particularly nice: the view of the vast ocean from the bed. I slept very well. Julius welcomed me like a friend—you're not just a guest here, you're truly welcome. I would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. Thank you very much, Julius!

I had a wonderful time at Julius' accommodation! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcome. The room itself is equipped with everything you need. I especially loved the comfortable bed, the large balcony, and the quiet location – I slept really well! Communication with Julius was also consistently pleasant – warm and straightforward. He showed me a bit of the island - You felt not just like a guest, but truly welcome. I would return anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation. Thank you for everything, Julius!

I arrived on a very late flight and after driving from the airport, it was almost 2 AM - but Julius was awake and ready to meet me and take me through the home. After a very restful night in a comfortable bed, I had some coffee outside and enjoyed the amazing view. Julius allowed me to use his washing machine so that I could clean a week's worth of dirty clothing, and as the laundry dried outside, he offered me a flavorful stew made with vegetables from his garden. Highly recommended!

Amazing ! The room is spacious and practical with a balcony and an amazing view. I had one of the best morning coffees and yoga flows on Julius's terrace :) Aside from the room, Julius was very kind, friendly, and welcoming. We even shared breakfast and dinner together. He was always free to share his best addresses and tips. I would go differently to his place again !

Excellent address in the south of Madeira! The house is very well located (ideal for exploring the south), it is on high ground with an exceptional view towards the sea and Calheta, ideal for breakfast and drinks! The bedroom is spacious and the bed very comfortable (ideal for calm and restful nights) with a terrace! Julius is a perfect host trying to make your trip ideal: advice and addresses. This is our recommendation.

The ideal place in paradise, beautiful house with a great view in a very nice rural area with a few walking distance amenities. The host was super nice and friendly making me feel very welcomed and relaxed, he also recommended a few places to visit and also a few bars with great atmosphere, also very good communication with the host, I stayed 2 nights but wish I could stay much longer.. definitely recommend this place 100%.
