Historic house in north end of downtown Wilmington, Brooklyn Arts Dist

Lloyd was a kind, generous and thoughtful host for me. He's an interesting man with whom I thoroughly enjoyed conversation. I appreciated that he got on with his own life while I was there, having people over, sharing dinner, playing games, making me feel part of whatever he had going on. It was so easy to be at Lloyd's house. Great location for downtown Wilmington. Lloyd's little dog, Dexter, is a sweetheart, as he just wants a scratch behind the ears now and then, and if you'll do that, he's your friend. If you're headed to Wilmington NC, and you're not so much looking for the kindness of strangers but rather the kindness of someone who won't be a stranger, talk to Lloyd. You'll be glad you did.

Was just staying in Wilmington for one night found Lloyd's listing. Super easy to communicate great comfortable place conveniently located. Lloyd is a great host and makes you feel extremely comfortable. We'll definitely stay there again.

Lloyd was a great host. I got sick and actually spent a decent amount of time at his home. The guest bed was comfortable and his little dog was delightful.

My visit to Lloyd's Historic house in Wilmington was as advertised and more! Great location with lots of bars and eating establishments a short walk away. The house was recently renovated, impeccably clean, and decorated with beautiful original artwork. Lloyd and his miniature dachshund Dexter were the perfect hosts. I hope to stay with them again on my next trip to Wilmington. Highly recommended!

Staying with Lloyd was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. His friendly and accommodating nature truly stood out—he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Lloyd also had fantastic recommendations for local spots to visit and explore. Let's not forget Dexter, his adorable and friendly dog! Dexter was such a joy to be around and made the stay even more special. He's well-behaved and added a warm, homey vibe to the place. Overall, my experience with Lloyd and Dexter was exceptional. If you're looking for a kind host, great local tips, and a furry friend to brighten your day, this is the place to stay. I can't recommend it enough and would love to return in the future! Such a great experience staying with Lloyd in his downtown Wilmington home! Lloyd is such a warm and friendly person and you'll love his small dog, Dexter too. Lloyd showed me around town my first night and we went to dinner each night I was there. I also got to meet a few of his friends which was a plus. I didn't need my car at all, everything including the River Walk was easy access by foot from the house. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend a stay with Lloyd.

Lloyd was such an amazing host! So personable and kind. He went above and beyond to accommodate anything I needed. Also great bars and restaurants in walking distance. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Wilminton area.
