Welcome to our beautifully restored authentic home in the central neighbourhood Barrio Otoya/Amon. You find our place within the safety of a semi-private entrance, elevated on one of San José historic walls. From our place you can enjoy a unique view over the city, and you are near to all touristic highlights of town.

Our place is an open and artistic house, Simon has his art studio and Eric has his workshop and Slow Fashion store Amo Y Señor. We have two lovely dogs which are already dying to meet you.

The room has access via a private patio with a little table; there's a comfy bed, and a window offering natural light. There's a full equipped private bathroom with a shower.

We offer an optional and delicious Costa Rican breakfast, with freshly baked bread, Gallo pinto, eggs,... ( $15/person)

The open living/working space and shop has plenty places to work and be around, great for getting to know us and talk about our lives and travel plans.

Our place is located next to the Atlantic railway station, which during the week mornings/evenings gets a bit noisy but is part of staying in the centre of San José. during the weekends no trains pass.

We are Simon (37, Belgian) and Eric (53, Costa Rican). Welcome to Casa Amo Y Señor. A safe space for creativity, beauty, art and fashion design... and Food! We like to mix our work and living space. We really like our home and we hope that you also feel home at our unique place. Simon is a Belgian artist who moved to San José 3 years ago to follow his heart. His will love to show you his collage art and designs. Eric is a Costa Rican fashion designer and artist, he is the founder of his brand 'amo y señor.' which stands for more than 10 years for Comfort meets style, he designs for quality and sustainable clothing.

Perfect. Everything was perfect. Simon and Eric are welcoming and gracious hosts. Their home is in a nice, historic neighborhood; it is walkable to the city center. The room with attached bathroom is comfortable with plenty of space for a several day visit. I especially appreciated the back garden as a spot to enjoy a relaxing moment with the beautiful plants. Highly recommend!
