I’m in a quiet neighborhood, close to some cool spots for exploring, eating, and enjoying the outdoors. Bakersfield might not have the biggest LGBTQ+ scene, but it has its charms and you’ll find a few places that are welcoming and fun.
Things to Do Nearby Mill Creek / Central Park – Perfect for a relaxing walk or picnic Buena Vista Museum of Natural History & Science – Check out fossils, geology, and interactive exhibits.
Kern County Museum – Learn about local history and the famous Bakersfield Sound.

Welcome! I'm happy to host and want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home during your stay. You're welcome to use the shower, and fresh towels, washcloths, and linens are provided for your convenience. The kitchen is available if you'd like to prepare a meal, and the washer and dryer are available should you need to do a load of laundry during your stay. The home has a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, and I simply ask that guests treat the space with care and respect. The only house rule I have is that smoking of any kind, including marijuana, is not permitted inside the home. This is also a clothing-optional home. My roommate is fully aware of that and completely comfortable with it, so feel free to relax and be yourself. Whether that's fully dressed, somewhere in between, or enjoying your stay in your birthday suit, you're welcome to do what feels most comfortable. If there's anything you need during your stay, just let me know. I'm always happy to help and want your visit to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I look forward to hosting you!

I had a wonderful stay at Joseph's home. Joseph and his roommate were warm and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. I would definitely stay with them again and highly recommend them to others.

Joseph is an awesome host, very friendly and kind. The house is very clean and the bed super comfortable. Joseph is a massage therapist and if you get the chance you definitely want to experience this, he is the best. I will stay here again and highly recommend this place if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

The room and bed were very comfortable. Joseph is a very welcoming host. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and the communication was exceptional. Joseph is a massage therapist and I was able to enjoy his services. It was a huge plus during my stay.
