“This is a beautiful resort style hotel set in the mountains surrounding Cuenca. It’s about a 4.5 mile drive from Cuenca proper along a BEAUTIFUL winding road. Very pet and family friendly, this place is well set up such that you never want to leave. The pool is beautiful. There is a billiard table, ping pong table and foosball table in the large game room - again, family friendly (many kids). The ample breakfast buffet is served in one of the restaurants while lunch and dinner is served in the other more intimate but still unpretentious main restaurant. Everyone working here is knowledgeable of the area (Cuenca), kind and helpful. The room while well maintained, shows a bit of age. There are full blackout curtains on the windows. The AC unit is controlled in room and works very well. A large “party shower” with double rain fall shower heads and two hand held heads round out this well appointed, generous home away from home. My only regret is that I didn’t book more time here so that we could relax and enjoy the all of the amenities. I would not hesitate to recommend this property or to stay here again myself given the opportunity.”
