This 4-star Superior hotel is in the spa resort of Oberorke, in the southern Sauerland region. It offers a large wellness area with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and free private parking.
The partly renovated, nonsmoking rooms feature a TV, and a mini-bar, and special rooms are available for people traveling with pets. Bathrooms are en-suite and a bathrobe is provided.
The large spa area at the Hotel Freund - Privathotels Dr Lohbeck includes 5 saunas, 2 swimming pools, a fitness room and a sunbathing lawn. Massages and Ayurvedic treatments are also available.
Hotel Freund - Privathotels Dr Lohbeck is popular for hiking and cycling breaks here in the Kellerwald national park. There are riding stables beside the hotel, and free mountain bikes can be rented on site.
Food is served in the L'ami or the Orketal restaurant. The L'ami Lounge Bar is open daily from 17:00. There is a barbecue area and beer garden for summer months.
