Unveiling the Hotel
Hotel Spaander is located in a prime position in Volendam on the banks of the Lake Markermeer. This historical hotel dating back to 1881 has a truly authentic Dutch feel to it.
Each of the 78 bedrooms have been uniquely decorated and feature authentic Dutch decor. Rooms are generously proportioned and some of them offer views over the Lake Markermeer or Volendam’s famous boulevard on the dike.
The hotel’s famous restaurant offers a delightful menu featuring Volendam and Dutch specialties. Guests can sample such delights as stewed fish.
Hotel Spaander also organizes various music, entertainment and art events on a regular basis. Guests will love exploring the town of Volendam on foot – the traditional Dutch houses, the canals, the scenic waterfront and of course the dike itself. The historical towns of Edam and Monnickendam are close by and worth a visit.
