Unveiling the Hotel

The friendly Restaurant & Hotel Monopole Harderwijk is uniquely located on the boulevard of Harderwijk, next to the Wolderwijd lake. This small hotel offers free Wi-Fi.

All of Monopole's rooms have a private bathroom, a refrigerator and LCD TV and are quietly located at the back side of the property. They feature designer seating and also have tea/coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms also have a pretty view on the water.

The restaurant serves international cuisine with an emphasis on fish and meat dishes. There is a large terrace with views on the lake.

Breakfast Information: From 1 July, 2026, breakfast will be served daily in our restaurant from 10:00 AM. Guests departing before 10:00 AM can request a breakfast package in advance.

The city center is a 5-minute walk around the corner and offers shops, restaurants, a cinema and museums. You can also visit the nearby Dolfinarium which is 1148 feet away from Hotel Monopole. Wellness center The Zwaluwhoeve is 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. Harderwijk Railway Station is 1 mi away.

The room is located above the entrance of a nightclub that was open late into the night. When I reported this the next morning, the response was that this 'sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't, but you have to expect such things when you stay in the city center'. The hotel is actually fine, but because of the disturbance I wouldn't want to stay there again.
