New York style Loft

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights' stay in this modern, stylish loft. The unit was very well-appointed and felt like it had been recently renovated with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. There was plenty of closet and drawer space in the sleeping area upstairs so I could unpack, vs. living out of a suitcase. The biggest win was its proximity to bustling Oxford Street, grocery stores and public transportation. The mini-fridge in the kitchen was big enough to store beverages and breakfast items. I ate most of my meals at a selection of nearby restaurants and felt completely safe walking around at night. The loft layout was something I'd always wanted to try and I'm glad I did.

Very cool vibe! Great for 1 person or couple. Super handy to Oxford St and Taylor Square. No noise issues from laneway or Oxford St pubs. Place was very clean and tidy. Communicating with host was very easy and super quick responses. There is one thing to consider though. All guests must provide a selfie holding some form of ID. If they don't and aren't approved by the host, they cannot come visit you. I understand why there is a degree of caution around guests as I'm sure people have abused this in the past. But it is somewhat restrictive - particularly as using a bnb is because mostly you are visiting from out of town and want to meet friends/family and have them visit you. At the time of booking it all became too hard and I accepted that no one would be able to come into the apt. However, discussing this with the host post staying there it appears that there is some flexibility with this. I feel that this should be stated up front and more flexibility provided at the time of booking. Overall though a great place to stay and would do so again happily.

The New York Loft was in the perfect location. Set back behind Oxford St it was surprisingly quiet given the clubs and nightlife abutting it. Communication with Gabriel was easy and welcoming. My check in was made smooth with the details messaged to me beforehand. The Loft is just as charming as the pictures. It is the perfect size for a couple with everything you need supplied, including the reusable bag for the supermarket. The Loft is a very clever design with lots of storage. The only thing I would ask for was a blind or curtain for the bedroom window to block the morning sun. I will be booking this gem again.
