“Very convenient to Hotel and has lots in terms of food options, gym, and shuttle. If you need to be close to airport. Highly recommend. Staff was also very friendly. ”

Unveiling the Hotel

Located directly next to Schiphol Airport, Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel has a free shuttle service, which is available from 06:15 until 23:45 (every half hour). There is an indoor gym.

Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel offers a 24-hour front office and rooms with a private bathroom.

Guests are always welcome in the hotel bar, which features LCD TV and air conditioning or they can relax in the lounge chairs in the lobby. The hotel also features an à la carte restaurant.

The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel. In the lobby, there is a computer with free internet access for guests.

Haarlem and Amsterdam, as well as the seaside resort of Zandvoort, are easily accessible from the hotel.

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to Schiphol Airport every half hour from 06:00 to 23:30. The shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the hotel runs every half hour from 06:15 to 23:45. On New Year's Evening, there will be no public transport to and from the hotel after 20:00. The last hotel's shuttle will depart from the airport to the hotel at 20:45 and the last shuttle from the hotel to the airport leaves at 20:30.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I was unimpressed by the hotel, which was not what I expected. The room was adequate. The hotel had sent me check in information which was only in Dutch. The restaurant was closed and I had to cross to the adjoining hotel to get some dinner. I then had to wait for a table even though there were plenty of uncleared empty tables. I ordered the fillet which turned out to be tough, unlike any fillet I have previously had. The bed was uncomfortable and the bottom sheet was so loose that it didn't stay in place.
