Ramon·5·Sep. 2026· "Mau was a great host - friendly, welcoming, communicative, and hospitable. The location is amazing given the value of the accommodation. Close to train stations that'll take you anywhere in Chicago, and walking distance to different restaurants, stores and even gay bars. The accommodation itself is in what I consider to be typical city-conditions, maybe some chipping paint, creaking floors, no elevator (1-flight of stairs), window-AC unit - but nothing too crazy, and again, for the price and location, unbeatable. The L-shaped couch is not a fold-out bed, so must be okay with sleeping on the couch as is - which was not an issue for me. So overall, great experience!"

He even let me use the spare bedroom as his guests departed a day earlier. I would definitely stay at his place again."

Location is a short Uber or tram ride into the city and only ten minutes to the airport even during Monday morning rush hour. Even though the accommodation is a sleeper sofa in the living room it was extremely comfortable and the space has shutters to block out the light. Definitely a nice stay."
