The location of the condo is perfect; just a short walk to the beach, and all our favourite restaurants, clubs and bars. The unit was exactly as advertised and well appointed throughout. Fully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils, washer and dryer and 2 TV's. We appreciated the cleaning halfway through our stay.
The terrace was spacious and the view is spectacular.
The gym has all new equipment and enough variety for everyone's needs. And the heated rooftop pool is magnificent. Never overcrowded and stunning views of the whole bay.
Mary was very helpful; accessible, knowledgeable and friendly.
We will definitely be coming back.

Check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free. And the accommodation was very clean. André is a true artist and possesses quite different talents. Playing the piano and composing are just 2 of many. Especially for solo travelers looking for connection, André is a highly interesting person to meet, and he's also very good-looking. He immediately gives you the feeling of visiting an old friend. Best thanks to you André for your warm hospitality once again."

The apartment is located within walking distance of major attractions in the city, and is very accessible via public transport (both bus from the airport and bus station). I've been unable to visit for the past couple years but when stayed there again over the weekend I was reminded of how peaceful Don and George's place is. It is an incredible retreat from the city: very clean and comfortable, with super gracious hosts! I look forward to returning soon, to sit out on the deck, listen to the birds, all while staring at the snow-covered mountains across the Skagit Valley. Peaceful bliss."

The space was spotlessly clean and matched the listing perfectly—no surprises, just a comfortable, well-maintained place that felt like home from day one. Everything was thoughtfully set up with all the essentials a guest could need. The location couldn't be better for getting around and exploring the area, with easy access to transportation and local amenities.
But what really made this stay exceptional was the host, Victor. From the moment I arrived, he was genuinely welcoming and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. His communication was always prompt, clear, and intelligent—exactly what you want when you're in an unfamiliar place. His local recommendations were spot-on, and every interaction was warm and helpful without ever feeling intrusive.
It's rare to find a host who strikes that perfect balance between being available and giving you space. Highly recommend!"

I spent a month with him while studying French in a near-by town and he happily showed me around, included me in his evening suppers when I didn't go out with classmates (he's a good cook!), and assisted me in my beginning attempts to communicate in French. The apartment is quiet and has a lovely view (the hot tub no longer works but it wasn't the weather for it anyway). My only caution is that it is quite a long walk (with lots of stairs) from anywhere if you don't have a car--but the exercise was good for me!"

G&B·5·Aug. 2017· "My first impression of the villa was that it was a little more scuffed than I expected from the photos. However, it was soon clear that there is much in the house which is original so you hardly expect it to be box fresh.
The room was nice, comfortable bed and decent furniture for putting clothes. There was a microwave in the room, in addition to those in the large kitchen downstairs. There are actually two balconies, one you can put stuff out to dry on the airer provided.
The kitchen was really great: each room has its own fridge and cupboard. There are two hobs, a microwave and quick-cook oven. The area is kept clean and is well stocked with plates/cups/glasses etc. It's all very stylish and thoughtfully designed, too, making best use of the shared space.
Pool is fab, and we spent quite a bit of time on the terrace too, even into the evening.
Patrick was easy to contact, and he or his partner were around for any questions. The other guests were also sociable.
The one downside is that it is right next to a busy road and a tram line, so there is a fair bit of traffic noise right through the evening. However, the double glazing minimises this when sleeping. And heck, you're in the middle of a city, not by the beach!"
