A perfect stay! The location is ideal, close to the Cité, but quiet among vineyards and pines. Gilles took special care to make his estate a welcoming and charming place. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, the pool allows you to relax at any time, the hearty breakfast... Olivier discreetly ensures that everything goes well for you and is always ready to help. In short, a flawless stay!

It was very special to stay at Gilles's lovely and atmospheric home in the hills. You can just chill as there are lots of different and special places to sit and explore (inside & around the property) or walk from the Iron Gate and explore the medieval city of Carcassonne.

Ideally located accommodation, 15 minutes' walk from the medieval city of Carcassonne, and in every way consistent with the description. The property, restored and carefully furnished by the owners, has character and charm that make your stay a timeless escape. Some previous comments mention a housekeeper: she has left. Advantageously replaced for breakfast service by Paco, a well-built Spaniard who is attentive to every detail :) The other attentive person is Gilles, the owner, present but discreet, very approachable and straightforward, who does everything to make you feel at home, away from home. I absolutely recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful time at this very beautiful place. Gilles is a charming host and Odile, the housekeeper, manages the place masterfully with tremendous attention to detail. Truly highly recommended for its charm, kindness, peace and hospitality.

Magnificent exterior setting Rest and relaxation guaranteed. Plenty of space around the pool with beautifully landscaped gardens and a more than charming interior with its sumptuous different living rooms and decor from another era greatly appreciated, offering us a life of château owners during our stay. A real sense of freedom and unexpectedly interesting encounters.

It is impossible not to fall under the charm of this idyllic place. The ornate antique furniture, the impressive view of Carcassonne and the beauty of the facilities made me feel like I was in a manor. Gilles and Fathi are kind and attentive to their guests. My stay was too short. I highly recommend it.

We had an excellent stay at Gilles' place. He is welcoming and made us feel at ease immediately. The location, just a few minutes' walk from the Carcassonne citadel, is ideal. We will be happy to return.
