My recent travels took me to Turkey, where I found both charm and adventure.
According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

He has a very calm, kind, and welcoming energy that made my stay feel easy and comfortable. And Berlin, his cat honestly, what a sweetheart. Such a lovely little soul, and definitely one of the sweetest parts of the stay. It didn't feel like just staying in someone's place; it felt warm, peaceful. RonnieĀ·4Ā·Jun. 2024Ā·Ā "The room I occupied was adequate, it has a single bed low to the floor with lots of sunlight, a small table for my laptop, my host Mutlu and his partner are both very friendly, they have 2 cats and 4 kittens in the apartment which took me a while to get used to, I was afraid to step on one of them as they like to stay outside the bathroom door when they noticed that I was using it, I stepped out and almost stepped on one of them. The location was good, it is close to the main street."

He is very respectful and polite. And very helpful with everything you need.
He even made a homecooked meal for me which was so delicious.
He is a 10/10 and I can't recommend him enough!
If you are going to Istanbul, I recommend staying with this gentleman!
The location couldn't be better, the apparent is completely central and a walking distance to many great sightseeing spots."

He pays a lot of attention to details and even bought me a book as a present after a discussion about customs and traditions, which was very sweet of him. I didn't feel like staying in an b&b, but at home. The location is great, close to Taksim square and very quiet and the cat - sweetality!!!"
