My recent travels took me to Turkey, where I found both charm and adventure.
According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

This was my first time using misterbnb and it left a wonderful impression on me.
Mustafa was more than a host, he was like family. Very kind, thoughtful and warm hospitality. He was helpful with tips about places to visit, what activities to-do, he showed me the places local people like, where you can get the best baklava etc and many more great recommendations.
They also included me during meal times and made me feel like I am part of the family.
These guys are the best, I wish I can give them a higher rating. If you are coming to Istanbul, stay with these guys.
They are the best.
Thank you for showing so much love and Kindness during my stay, I hope to see you again soon next time when I am back to Istanbul."

And Berlin, his cat honestly, what a sweetheart. Such a lovely little soul, and definitely one of the sweetest parts of the stay. It didn't feel like just staying in someone's place; it felt warm, peaceful. I'm really grateful for the experience and would happily recommend Utku to anyone."

Ronnie·4·Jun. 2024· "The room I occupied was adequate, it has a single bed low to the floor with lots of sunlight, a small table for my laptop, my host Mutlu and his partner are both very friendly, they have 2 cats and 4 kittens in the apartment which took me a while to get used to, I was afraid to step on one of them as they like to stay outside the bathroom door when they noticed that I was using it, I stepped out and almost stepped on one of them. The location was good, it is close to the main street."
