Private Room in City Center Taksim

Hi guys. My name is Nihat and I am living in Istanbul.

If you would like to stay in a cosy apartment in the heart of Istanbul hosted by a friendly Turkish guy then you are very WELCOME to stay at my home!

You will definitely have a great local experience! My apartment is located in the “Taksim” area, on a very quiet street and is only a 3 min walk from all the local amenities, bars, clubs, shops and restaurants.

The “Taksim” area is one of the most popular and busiest vibrant areas in Istanbul. Not only is it a historical area with beautiful buildings but it is also an area full of shops, fancy bars, restaurants... and coffee shops of course, where you can have delicious Turkish coffee! And all of this is just on my door step. The night life is great here in “Taksim” and if you love clubbing, you won’t be disappointed!

You will find a mixture of local life and tourists in my neighbourhood and it’s very friendly and very safe.

It’s only a short stroll to “Taksim square” and the main shopping street, “Istiklal”, is busy night and day. Just a 15 min walk will take you to the Old town with easy access to all historical and touristic places of Istanbul.

You can take tram direct to “Sultanahmet” area where there are more historical places. “Blue Mosque”, “Hagia Sofia”, “Cistern”, “Grand Bazaar” and “Spice Bazaar” are 15 min away by bus or tram. You can always walk to all the places you would like to see, and even it takes a little bit longer, it is all worth it as you will find many hidden jewels along the way. You will love Istanbul!

My apartment is also close to “Nisantasi” (15 min walk), which is a very chic and famous neighbourhood for shopping and dining.

It’s only a 5 min walk to the “Bosphorus” to enjoy the stunning views. There are many coffee shops on the promenade where you can enjoy your lunch and a good weather.

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to “Dilmer Language Centre” and it’s easy to access all Istanbul Universities by a public transport: “Bogazici University”, “Galatasaray University”, “Bilgi University” and “Istanbul Teknik University”.

Bus station: 4 min walk
“Fındıklı” Tram Station: 5 min walk

If you prefer to take a taxi, you will find that there are no shortages of taxis.

If you need to exchange your money, there is a currency exchange office only a 2 min walk from my apartment. They don’t take any commissions and the exchange rate is always good and it is very safe place to exchange your money.

If you are planning a hair transplant operation in Istanbul, “Taksim” is the best location for you to stay! You can still enjoy all local amenities that the area has to offer and still have fun before and after your surgery. Most of the clinics advise their patients to stay in “Taksim”.
