Blue Room - Stay with an Italian (Double Room)

Francesco was a wonderful host, always there to help, warm and very friendly. He pays a lot of attention to details and even bought me a book as a present after a discussion about customs and traditions, which was very sweet of him. I didn't feel like staying in an b&b, but at home. The location is great, close to Taksim square and very quiet and the cat - sweetality!!!

I don't even know where to begin! WOW. Francesco is an amazing host. He was extremely helpful and descriptive describing the location of the apartment for me (he even greeted me and carried one of my suitcases upstairs). On my first night, he showed me around the local nightlife! We went out on another night as well. Amazing conversations all around :). Francesco is extremely knowledgeable regarding Istanbul and gave me great tips for what to see. I look forward to visiting Francesco again!

Francesco is genuinely one of the kindest and most welcoming people you will meet in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, he was warm, helpful and made me feel comfortable. He is also more than happy to share recommendations and information about Istanbul, which is especially helpful if you’re visiting the city for the first time. He has a lovely cat, Piso, who is very calm and doesn’t bother guests at all. The room itself is comfortable, and during the summer months, Francesco provides a fan to keep the room cool. There is no lift in the building, but Francesco was incredibly kind and helped me carry my luggage all the way up to the fourth floor. The bathroom is clean, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for tea and coffee. The locality may not be the most picturesque or convenient in Istanbul, but taxis are readily available and can take you wherever you need to go. If you’re travelling alone and looking for a friendly, welcoming place where you can also feel like you have someone to turn to in an unfamiliar city, I would definitely recommend staying with Francesco. His warmth and hospitality really make the experience special.

Francesco is truly one of the kindest people I've ever met. His place is modern and comfortable. Hospitality is impeccable. The bedroom was a good size with a cute, useful table. Italian breakfast is provided with espresso and plenty of clean water. Such a fun, enjoyable vibe. I didn't want to leave.

I had a wonderful stay in Istanbul with Francesco. The location was perfect, just a 15 min walk to the center with wonderful shops and restaurants nearby. The room and flat was great and Francesco was an extraordinary host. Communication was amazing and he was so kind and interesting, offering me to join activities and sending over extensive recommendations for things to do in the city. I can highly recommend staying in his flat when in Istanbul - I would come back in a heartbeat.

We spent 6 excellent nights in this apartment. From the moment of arrival we felt welcomed by Francesco and Piso, the house cat. The bed is comfortable, the entire accommodation was clean and very well maintained. Francesco is a kind, attentive and very friendly host, he was always available to help us solve any questions, make recommendations or solve any problems we had, he even helped us order dinner on the first night we arrived. What made our stay unique was being able to share 2 incredible nights with Francesco and Demir, who offered to accompany us to discover the vibrant nightlife of Istanbul and make us feel part of local Turkish life. We are sure we will return to this beautiful city and of course to Francesco's accommodation. Thank you so much!

I had a wonderful stay with Francesco and can truly recommend him as a host. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, and made me feel at home from the very beginning. The apartment is spacious, full of character, and beautifully combines Italian and Turkish flair. I also have to mention his cat Piso, an absolute sweetheart who instantly wins you over. Despite some bad weather, but I had a great time with nice conversations, shared stories, a movie night, and exploring Istanbul's nightlife with Franceso and his charming partner. His Turkish breakfast was a highlight, his menemen is excellent. I would happily stay with Francesco again.

30 min into checking in, I was out and about with Francesco and his partner clubbing. The apartments is huge and central to taksim square. It was more convenient to walk than to take the taxi or metro. Francesco is my Italian dream. Charming and welcoming and always available on ********. His partner is also just as charming, educating us on Turkish camels 🐪
