Militant, but also festive and cultural, the Culture Pride Weekend wants to be open to the widest possible audience in order to support the slogan of the Le Mans Pride March, which will tour the city center this Saturday starting at 3pm: "Homos or heteros: all equal. These differences enrich the world! ". As a reminder, Le Mans was the first city in France in 2002 to sign a lesbian and gay friendly welcome charter.

Unlike most large city marches, the Le Mans Gay Pride does not last only one afternoon but is a 3-day event, punctuated by numerous events, starting with the official opening ceremony at the starting with the official inauguration at the Le Mans city hall and the lighting of the tunnel giving access to the city center, in the colors of the rainbow flag, from Friday evening.
On Saturday, the Pride Village will host many exhibitors on the Place des Jacobins as well as animations, with the presence of the ambassador of Le Mans, Steevy Boulay in person. The Pride March will start at 3pm. In the evening, a "Night-Tour" will allow to discover all the LGBT and gay-friendly partner establishments, and in particular Heaven's Café, where the official evening of the Le Mans gay pride will take place.
Finally, on Sunday around 3pm, this Culture Pride Weekend will end on a cultural and patrimonial note with a guided tour of the Plantagenet City.
