Hamburg Pride (CSD or Christopher Street Day) takes place in the northern German city every year during July and August. First held in 1980, Hamburg Gay Pride (CSD) is made up of many different fun events, including Pride Night, Pride House, Pride Parade and the Pride Street Festival, usually held at Lange Reihe Street in the gay village area of St. Georg.
While Hamburg may experience bitter winters, the timely scheduling of Hamburg Pride in July means you can experience your pride in this northern city in the sun.
The following is the event program for 2019. Stay tuned for the 2020 program for the Hamburg Pride, coming soon.
For 2019, Hamburg Pride (CSD) will take place from July 27 to August 4. In honor of 50 years since the Stonewall Uprising in New York, Hamburg Pride will aim to celebrate diversity and inclusion through an incredible Pride Street Festival (Strassenfest) which will run from August 2 to 5 at Jungfernstieg. The main Hamburg Pride Parade will color the city streets on Saturday, August 3 from Lange Reihe at 12pm.
If partying is on your agenda, you should also attend Hamburg Electro Pride. It will kick off on Friday night, August 2, at Uebel und Gefährlich and welcome DJs Andreas Henneberg and Marc Romboy.
Thousands of gay gays and gals gather to celebrate Hamburg Pride, so why not join in on the fun and experience your pride up north this August?
