Kraftwerk

Kraftwerk is a large, stylish corner café-bar in a prime spot overlooking Munich's Glockenbachviertel, the city's gay quarter near Sendlinger Tor. A day-to-night institution for gays, lesbians and friends, it serves coffee, brunch and light Mediterranean and global plates by day, shifting to cocktails, burgers and drinks in the evening, with a popular street terrace in summer. Relaxed and sociable, it's famous for its Wednesday € 1 beer happy hour (7–9 pm) that packs the place out, and works equally well as a laid-back coffee stop or a lively pre-party meeting point.
