Cafe & Bar Edelheiss

Edelheiss is a cozy, traditional gay bar in the heart of Munich's Glockenbachviertel, a few doors down from Café Nil, all rustic Bavarian ambiance and Tracht-friendly charm. Small but warm, with friendly bartenders who quickly get to know the regulars and a bit of outdoor seating under a heated awning, it turns men-only after 8 pm and draws a mostly local, bear-and-mature crowd that's happy to chat, often in English with visitors. A signature perk: bearded punters get their second beer on the house every Thursday after 8 pm. It gets packed during Oktoberfest but is an easy, relaxed spot for a beer the rest of the year.
