CC Blooms is Edinburgh's original and most famous gay venue, a landmark of the Pink Triangle on Greenside Place since 1994, right beside the Playhouse at the top of Leith Walk. By day, it's a relaxed bar and diner serving brunch, cocktails, and pub-style plates, with outdoor seating for people-watching. By night, it transforms into the city's go-to gay nightclub, open seven nights a week until 3 am, with resident and guest DJs spinning pop anthems, 90s classics, and dance across two floors, plus regular drag shows and the legendary Sunday cabaret "Disgraceful." A genuine institution that helped launch Scottish drag stars like Lawrence Chaney, it's a celebratory, all-welcome safe space and the dependable heart of Edinburgh's queer nightlife, with free entry on most nights.
