The Street is a long-standing, independently owned gay bar, eatery, and nightclub in the heart of Edinburgh's Pink Triangle at Picardy Place, a landmark of the city's scene since 2004. Spread over two floors with heated outdoor terraces on both levels, it works as an all-day spot, glass-fronted and great for a coffee or cocktail and some people-watching by day, with a full food menu served into the evening.

Planet Bar is Edinburgh's longest-running gay bar, a warm, unpretentious institution at Baxter's Place on the edge of the city's Pink Triangle, established back in 1993. Recently refreshed, it's a compact, colorful spot with comfortable seating, a small dance floor, and reasonably priced premium drinks, beloved as much for its easygoing, all-welcome feel as for its entertainment lineup.
