I had a thoroughly enjoyable return visit with Alan at his lovely flat conveniently located right off the Leith walk. Alan is a relaxed host and easy to spend time with chatting or just hanging around. The added bonus this stay was the adorable pooch whose stay coincided with mine. Alan's flat is smartly designed and everything is laid out for both the host and a guest to comfortably inhabit the space. Highly recommended if you are visiting Edinburgh.

Alan is an excellent host. His apartment is beautiful, the room is very comfortable and the place is walking distance to the train station and Edinburgh old town; public transportation is nearby as well. Everything is as described. Communication with him prior and during my stay was great. Alan made me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend staying with him.

Alan was a very friendly and welcoming host. I had rather hectic plans, coming and going, and late nights, and he was completely chill about it. Always there at the right time to offer a cup of tea and a wee chat. His place was also lovely and welcoming. Even though it was a short walk from the city centre, it was quiet and I got some great sleep. I would recommend and would use it again.

Alan is a wonderful host in his lovely flat within easy reach of the tram, buses, rail and many restaurants and bars. He was gracious when my travel plans had to change on account of weather and when I finally did arrive the flat and nice and cozy and welcoming. It is beautifully outfitted and decorated and I slept well in the very comfortable bed. Alan is fun to be around, talk with and share a drink or food or conversation. I would recommend staying with him if he has an opening!
