My accommodation is only a 20 min bus journey from Edinburgh Waverly train station. The beach is only 5 mins walk from my house. A perfect combo of city and beach life when the sun is shining.
The room is located on the first floor which is actually the attic conversion. Its very spacious and bright with dual aspect windows to the front and back of the room. The room is more than big enough for 2 people to stay in. Theres a king size bed, a couple of armchairs, desk, TV and superfast ******** also have an ensuite shower room next door.
The area is residential and at night its very quiet so you will get a good nights sleep (lucky i dont stay city centre!)
The Neighbourhood
Five minutes on foot gets you to the beach and promenade, two supermarkets, and a great mix of independent cafes, seafood spots, and restaurants. Plenty of choice for every meal.
Getting Around
Bus stop right outside the door, 20 minutes to the Royal Mile. Uber and black cabs available 24/7. Free parking on the street (genuinely rare in Edinburgh).
Shared Spaces
Help yourself to the fully equipped kitchen, sitting room with a full Dolby Atmos cinema setup, and the garden. Dogs welcome. I'm a well-travelled, easy-going host, happy to share local tips over a beer.

Edinburgh institution CC Blooms is a must for a night out. Fairly sedate during the day but gets very lively in the evening with DJ’s, drag shows and the usual camparama

The Regent is the traditional pub with a local crowd drinking there. It’s located just a stones throw from Calton Hill which is worth taking a walk around and take in the sights. Best time to go is after dark or when the bars are closing.
