A cozy double bedroom in a two-bedroom apartment within a converted historic house. The bedroom contains an extremely comfortable bed with nice bedding, a wardrobe and a dresser to help you make this your home while you are staying with me. The apartment itself has a shared bathroom, a good-sized kitchen with many utensils and gadgets, and a comfortable living room. There are several food shops in walking proximity to the apartment, as well as several bus lines. There is a lot of free on street parking around.
There is also an office setup that you can plug into and use if you need to work while staying.
Leith Links is a five minute walk and is great if you want to take a stroll or go for a run. There are also many independent cafes, bars and restaurants all within circa 20 min walking distance. Although relatively central with good transport to and from city centre, you feel like you are in a secluded village.
At times, there is a Doberman staying with me. She is an attention-seeking princess more so than a guard dog. If you leave your bedroom door open at night, you may find her cuddling beside you in the morning.
Worth nothing that I am a bit of a gadget geek and the house is relatively "smart" but I'll make sure you know all the commands, etc. to work things easily.

Leith is Edinburgh’s historic port district, situated on the northerly edge of the city. This historic home is located near the Links, a large green space within Leith, and is near to many bars and restaurants as well as public transport into the city centre. Leith itself is quite a gay friendly neighbourhood with the Pink Triangle within walking distance.

Edinburgh can be a wet city so I ask that when in the house, you do not wear outside shoes please - just to keep the place clean (even the dog gets her paws washed between outings).
You will most likely find that I am not around much - often at the office, gym or out with the dog, etc. which means you will have the place to yourself. Fear not however, if you need some help or assistance with something - I am easy to get a hold of.
I really do take pride in my possessions - art, gadgets, furniture, etc. Please treat it with care and the respect you would expect. Use coasters, wipe down counters and keep the communal areas clean after you use them.
My place is quite unique in that it is an old, listed and protected building which also means that it can be cold at times. There is central heating, which operates based on time and temperature, however there also space heaters, and other heaters provided to make sure you don't get too cold at night. Please always remember to turn off your heaters when you leave the house.
Finally, be mindful of noise and no parties please.
