We are a friendly and outgoing couple who enjoy the outdoors, cooking and meeting new people! We live 30mins by train and 24mins drive roughly from Glasgow city centre and shared our home with our lovely new pup Snowy and all other animals. We both very busy schedules but we always try our best to share a wine glass of wine during dinner and a good old chat.

A fascinating place to stay with the various animals and heritage building. Preston was most helpful with recommendations for travel arrangements and local places of interest

We spent 2 nights there and we loved it. Preston has been very helpful and we had good and interesting talks at breakfast which was delicious. We recommend. Olivier and David

Preston & Erwin were delightful hosts... Their home is a lovely place to stay, and my breakfast was superb. My one regret is my arrival time, and swift departure didn't do the house or the hosts justice, but I loved our conversations, (both are thoroughly engaging)...and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful location...I hope I can get back soon!

Great hosts - both very friendly and interesting guys. Their home is fantastic with bags of character and history. Very comfortable bed and a wonderful breakfast the next morning including their own fresh produce. Definitely recommend!

We felt really comfortable. Our host, Preston, is a wonderful person. He made us feel like we've known each other for years. We would return anytime.

Lovely place! In the middle of nowhere so very quiet, but there's two little village around about 30 min walk and the train station is between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Edwin and Preston fold themselves in 4 to prevent any need and allow me to spend an awesome staying in the countryside

Fabulous house in a great location. The place has great character and with a friendly and gracious host, it's the perfect place to stay when visiting Scotland. A real home from home. Only regret is not having more time to spend there. Definitely one to return to in the future.
