I stayed at Dario's for one night in June 2026 and terribly regret that I didn't book 2. Dario is a very nice host, helpful, easy and super friendly. Communication around my check-in was uncomplicated and the room looks exaclty as in the photos. The apartment is located in a residential neighbourhood but there are two supermarkets near by and the city is only a few bus stops away. The little river in front of the house is cute and a nice hang out in summer if you want to catch some sun and dip your feet in the water. I can very much recommend staying with Dario.

Dario was a wonderful and very kind host. Communication was excellent, he was flexible and accommodating, and his cats are absolutely lovely. Thank you for a great stay!

Dario is a very friendly host. It would be nice to mention the cats in the description. However, a B&B without Wi-Fi is no longer quite up to date today.

I had a great 2-night stay at Dario's place. He's super nice and we had really interesting chats. His two cats are adorable! The place is also very convenient with public transport. I'd be happy to come back. Thanks a lot

I felt so comfortable in Dario's place! The sound of the canal lulled me to sleep at night, his feline room-mates kept me on my toes, and Dario and his friends were open, warm and welcoming. If I felt at ease in Basel, it was very much thanks to him. I can recommend!

Most pleasant stay. For a first B&B experience I was lucky to be welcomed by Dario. Attentive host, smiling, regularly listening. The apartment is well located for visiting Basel, close to trams in a quiet neighborhood.
