If you decide to use the propane grill, you will have to “turn on”/open the propane tank. Grilling utensils are located in the kitchen on the wall behind the stove. The grill has built in lighters use you should have to click the knobs a few times to get it to light. No matches or other lighters needed. We do ask that you push the grill out from under the porch roof. Just a precaution. We understand that there are circumstances, like rain, when it won’t be possible to push it out. Please turn off the gas when finish grilling. Fire pit Please enjoy the fire pit. There should be a lighter and fire starter in the basket on the kitchen bar (along with some s’more fixin’s). Light the starter and place it in the pit and some kindling and smaller piece of wood from the pile and slowly build up to the larger pieces. Explore the property Holler Hideaway is located on 27 Acres of woodland. We have a path at the wood pile down next to the creek. Bring a chair down from the fire pit and take a seat, it’s a great place to read while listening to the water and birds. Other paths are in the making but feel to take your own path. If you find something we should make a permanent path to, let us know in the suggestion book located on the desk. Don’t forget to write about your own adventure in the Adventure book to give the next guest some advice. Cleaning supplies: If you find you need cleaning supplies during your stay, most supplies can be found in the gray storage cabinet in the laundry room or under the kitchen/bathroom sink. The grey cabinet is where you will find the broom, mop, and vacuum should you need them. CHECK-OUT Laundry/Linens Please strip the linens from the beds used (if you did not use one bed feel free to leave it) and place in hamper next to the dryer in the laundry room. Please place any Towel *both kitchen and bathroom) in this hamper as well. Trash Please remove all trash and place it in the large trash can outside. If, during your stay, you need more trash bags they can be found in the gray storage unit in the laundry room.
