From the Malaga airport, it takes about 50–60 minutes to reach the house; the last 4 km are on a dirt road. In our opinion, a four-wheel-drive vehicle isn’t necessary, but a car with higher ground clearance is an advantage.

We recommend renting a car at Málaga Airport to give you independence and allow you to go on excursions. We’ve had good experiences with allincarhire. If you don’t have a driver’s license, we’ll find a solution for you.

The nearest town, Comares, is a 20-minute drive away via a dirt road. In Comares, you’ll find a small grocery store with basic food items and everything else you need for daily life, a tobacco shop, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a bank with an ATM, and several restaurants and bars.

Just before Comares lies the hamlet of Los Ventorros, where you’ll find the two nearest restaurants: Restaurante El Molino, a traditional Spanish restaurant, and Table Mountain, which offers a variety of cuisines and is run by Dutch owners.

Málaga and Torremolinos are an hour’s drive away.
