Large suite in artsy Forest Home

Built in 1947, our home is a spacious place with high ceilings and large picture windows inviting in natural light and views of the forest. Our living room is a cozy space for exploration. Our built-in library harbors a large collection of books divided into many different categories, as well as a vinyl collection. At your disposal, we have a piano, a guitar, and other musical instruments available. Our kitchen is equipped with most utensils to cook and bake! We also have a compost and a garden station if you want to get your hands dirty. Fill the space with music and the good simple life! Sherwood Forest is the best-kept secret in town, an urban forest where a river flows through, a bird sanctuary filled with wildlife. We were once home to the Tequesta Indigenous people, and this was their sacred land. What makes this space special is that we have a real community of caring people. This is also a special place if you are looking to get away to heal and rest, go to the beach, kayak with the manatees, or bike under lush canopies. Our neighborhood offers serious healing work and meditation for those in need. While we value privacy, quiet time, and introspection, this home is ideal for meeting people and building community, which is why we prefer longer stays. Our place is ideal for people spending a long time in the city, or who are moving here and need a furnished place to stay before deciding on where to live. - Our cats are inside/outside. They really are the most precious beings, and for their protection, they have a curfew - once dusk comes. Be mindful of the door, they love to rebel and will try to go for another stroll (my ginger is swift). It's not a big deal if they escape, but they might be out for hours. I advise you to keep the bedroom door closed to avoid cats napping on your pillow, and possible fur on your clothes. Lol
