Spacious double room in swanky, gay friendly house with garden

We’re a friendly couple, letting the guest room in our beloved home, a swanky 3-bedroom terraced house with a beautifully maintained garden.

The house is located in the trendy neighbourhood of Balham, with an array of restaurants, cafes and shops on the high street. We are a short 8-minute walk from both Balham and Clapham South tube stations on the Northern Line. West End and Central London are about 20 minutes by tube. The popular gay bars and clubs of Clapham are just one tube stop away or about 20 minutes walk.

Our street is very quiet, with just very light one-way traffic in the street. The guest room window opens to our back garden, so it is completely quiet day and night.

The room has a standard double bed with bedside tables on both sides, a desk and a built-in wardrobe. Ideal for a stay for one person or a couple.

The main bathroom has a large free standing bathtub and a spacious walk-in shower, it is a shared bathroom and is located right next to the guest room. There is a downstairs toilet as well.

We will also share our kitchen and dining room with you, you are welcome to prepare your coffee and breakfast in the morning. In sunny and warm weather feel free to have alfresco coffee and breakfast in the garden or lounge under the cosy pergola.

We’ll be happy to give you as much space as you wish or give you company during your stay in London.
