We live here as a married couple in a friendly, shared house and offer a spacious private room with its own en-suite bathroom and toilet. The room has a large balcony and a comfy sofa that opens into a proper double bed. During your stay, we will also be sleeping in the same room, while the kitchen is a shared space. The other bedroom is upstairs and our housemate are friendly guys, so the atmosphere at home is open-minded, respectful and safe.

The area is calm and peaceful, you can reach the heart of London very quickly. It’s about a 7-minute walk to the Victoria line; two stops later you’re already in Zone 1. In three stops you can reach the Westminster/Palace area and many major sights, and in six stops you’re at Oxford Circus. Enjoy a night out in Soho’s gay scene and be back home in no time. Another train line is about 5 minutes away, taking you to the riverside and Tate Modern in just two stops.

If our schedules match and you’d like, we can include you in our own London explorations and give you local, gay-friendly tips and mini city tours.

You don’t need to bring towel, shampoo and toothpaste.

Just around the corner you’ll find Brixton Village and the covered food market, full of great international street food spots, as well as Pop Brixton, a lively place made of colourful containers with bars, food stalls and events. For a relaxed drink or brunch, Canova Hall is a local favourite and it’s very close to the underground. Our favourite restaurant is San Marino. If you are a fan of lamb you can visit Zaat. For cocktails you can also visit Upstairs at the Department Store. With the Victoria line nearby, you can be in central London in minutes. Soho, London’s main gay area, is just a short ride away and packed with gay bars, clubs and late-night fun. If you’re into more alternative nightlife, places like Vault 139 and several gay saunas are easily reachable too. Village is our bestie place for dancing. The Duke of Wellington can be a good option too.

A really lovely couple, who made me feel very welcome and comfortable in their home. Great chat and a really comfy bed. The flat is very clean and perfect for my overnight stay. Only a 10 min walk to the station. I'd definitely stay again. Thanks for cake too!

I stayed one evening with Vural and his husband and was able to explore Brixton in the evening. Both were very easy to talk to over Turkish coffee sharing experiences from around the world. They have genuine interest in their guests. Their home was spotlessly clean and quiet during the night and only a short walk from the underground and buses into central London. A wonderful experience! Thank you so much to Vural and Kitay for their hospitality. Communication with them was excellent from the very beginning. I really enjoyed their company, the conversations we shared, and the coffee we had together; they have an incredible warmth and closeness. The room is extremely welcoming and the bed is very comfortable, ideal for a good rest. I felt at home and, without a doubt, I want to return soon. Totally recommended!

Vural and his companion are very kind. As soon as I booked, Vural asked me my arrival time to make sure they would be present for the key handover. They recommended cool places to visit and were very cool! They even offered to share their meal with me. The metro is 15 minutes walk away and everything is well served! You can come as you are! Very safe place! We love it!

Vural and Kitay are wonderful hosts. I was comfortable sharing a room with them, and the fold-out bed was surprisingly comfy. The building is in a great location, easy to get to/from by transit.
