The Reveal

CozyGreat for Fitness LoversRelaxingCentral location

A nice house in a quiet cul-de-sac in a great Tucson neighborhood with room to spare. Come enjoy all Tucson has to offer with a nice home base, or enjoy your time in the Sonoran desert in front of the dining room fireplace or at the private pool.

I do have a dog who spent quite a bit of time at the shelter so she's still working through some skittishness. Very friendly but sensitive to loud noises sometimes.

Host recommendations

All I ask is for clear communication of expectations and requests. I work from home so I will be around for any asks or needs. Pool season usually starts for me as early as late May if mid-afternoon pool temps hit the 80s, but it's most comfortable June-August. I also have an inflatable hot tub I usually get set up in late October, though please make sure to mention if you want to use it so I can have it set up and have enough time to get it heated.

My stay with Nicklaus was very nice. He and his dog Roxi are very kind and hospitable. We enjoyed watching The Voice together a couple evenings. The bed was very comfortable and communication throughout was exceptional.

Nicklaus was an amazing host! Very hospitable and nice. His house was way more beautiful than the pictures give credit to, and it was in a really great location. He taught me so much about Tucson history, so it was really cool learning from him. I definitely would want to come back to stay with him next time I'm in Tucson.

Staying in this desert oasis was much more relaxing than a busy hotel. You are welcomed by a sunshine yellow door into what is a quirky and eclectic but well designed Tucson home full of art and character. The guestroom is a calming charcoal color with a comfortable bed and adjustable lighting.. the shower and bathroom were recently remodeled and have a rainfall shower and the commode has a built-in bidet. The pool area has partial shade and two chase loungers and multiple floats to use. The pool is large. What sets this home aside is its host, ********, who is extremely knowledgeable about Tucson and surrounding area areas; he is very respectful of privacy, but also willing to engage in conversation. I would recommend staying here. You feel safe, welcome, and at home.
