Washer/dryer. -Easy street parking. Total blackout shades on windows for a good sleep. Small gym in the house for your use. -15 mins to Georgetown and most DC attractions. Ballston Metro station is a 15 min walk or 5 min Uber ride. - Host knows Arlington and DC well and loves the area’s LGBTQ scene. - No smoking property (inside and outside). Overnight guest permitted, but no parties.

Practically all DC-area gay venues are on the 14th and U Street Corridors. (Though my favorite, The Little Gay Pub, is at 11th and P Streets NW.). We have a single but wonderful gay venue in Arlington: Freddie’s Beach Bar, on 23rd Street South. (Check out his collection of Barbie dolls. Different events every evening.)
Closest Metro station is Ballston, on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines. Gets you to all DC locations, including bars.
In addition to the many memorials and Smithsonian museums in the District, Arlington also offers some interesting sites: Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, the Marine Corps (Iwo Jima) Memorial, Air Force Memorial, and the Watergate/“Deep Throat” meeting spot in Rosslyn. Gravelly Point next to National Airport gets you “up close and personal” with arriving and departing planes. We have a great network of rental bikes and lots of paths to explore, including the George Washington Memorial Parkway bike path along the Potomac River.

Mike has a lovely place and my partner and I had a great time! Unfortunately Mike was traveling at the same time so we did not get to meet him (this trip around) but he was a great at communicating with us and able to recommend anything we had questions on. We will definitely be back and hope to meet you next time Mike!

I had a great two-week stay at Mike’s place. Mike was a thoughtful and friendly host who was always available if I needed anything, even though he wasn’t staying in the apartment during my visit. The apartment was comfortable, easy to find, and very well equipped. Access to the apartment was simple and hassle-free, and there was plenty of storage space for my belongings. The air conditioning worked well throughout my stay. There were also plenty of towels, and both the washing machine and dryer worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious and functional, and I especially appreciated that I could make the bedroom completely dark at night, which made it easy to sleep well. The location was also very convenient. It was about a 20-minute walk to the nearest Metro station, with quick and easy access to downtown Washington. The neighborhood felt safe, quiet, and welcoming throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend staying with Mike. He is a considerate host who made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Mike's place was fantastic and one of my favorite stays on this app. His communication was top tier he clearly explained everything I needed to know. His home is beautiful and very clean! He was very generous with amenities such as a glass of delicious wine and the ability to use his home gym and laundry! Highly recommend Mike's' place and wish I had gotten the opportunity to meet him as well.

Mike was an INCREDIBLE host! His hospitality was BEYOND expected and his home was gorgeous. It was the perfect location, if you're traveling to D.C., and not wanting to deal with the insane prices. If you're flying in from Reagan airport, it is not far at all. Thanks for everything, Mike, and can't wait to stay again! 💙 Roll Tide!!!
