House Rules To maintain a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment for all residents, these are the basic rules for living together: 1. Respect and Harmony • All residents must treat one another with respect, kindness, and consideration. • This is a home where everyone should feel comfortable and accepted. Diversity is respected, including the LGBTQ+ community. • No form of discrimination, harassment, threats, or disrespectful behavior will be tolerated. 2. Noise and Quiet Hours • A reasonable noise level must be maintained at all times. • Loud noises, loud music, parties, or gatherings that may disturb the neighbors are not permitted, especially during the evening hours. • After 10:00 PM, a quiet and respectful atmosphere is required. 3. Cleanliness and Common Areas • Each person is responsible for keeping their room clean and cleaning up after using the common areas. • The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and other shared areas must be left clean after use. • Dishes, trash, or personal belongings must not be left piled up in the common areas. 4. Visitors • Visitors are permitted as long as they are respectful and do not disturb the peace of the house; overnight stays are not allowed. • Frequent visitors or guests staying for extended periods must be reported in advance. Overnight visitors are not permitted. • Parties or large gatherings are not permitted without authorization. 5. Security • Keep doors locked and take care of the keys or access points to the property. • Sharing keys or access to the residence with unauthorized persons is not permitted. • Any maintenance or security issues must be reported as soon as possible. 6. Pets and Respect for Personal Space • Any interaction with the household pets must be respectful and safe. • Feeding or handling the pets without the owner’s permission is not allowed. 7. Privacy • Respect each resident’s privacy and personal space. • Do not enter other residents’ rooms without permission. 8. Responsible Use of the Residence • Illegal activities are not permitted on the property. • All residents are expected to take care of the residence as if it were their own home. • Any damage caused by negligence will be the responsibility of the person who caused it.
