As the Games get underway, the Ludogîte in the heart of the Dabo...New

The "À l’orée des jeux" game lodge welcomes you to a lush, green setting in the Northern Vosges forest, in the highest village in the Moselle department. What makes it truly exceptional is that it gives you access to an incredible game library, with over 2,100 different board games for all ages and skill levels! The view from the game library is magnificent. The vacation rental is in a quiet location, at the start of several hiking trails. A garden and a small terrace let you enjoy the outdoors.

The Accommodation This accommodation features two bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, a bathroom with an indoor toilet, an upstairs toilet, and a very large game library.

As we’re deeply committed to environmental sustainability, we’ve chosen to install dry toilets in the accommodation. Don’t worry—all you need to do is add a little sawdust (provided) to the toilet instead of flushing! And when the bucket starts to get too full, just let your hosts know, and they’ll replace it with an empty one!

To enjoy the peaceful outdoors, you can relax on the patio or in the garden. A fire pit also allows you to have a barbecue and/or enjoy a cozy moment around a campfire (subject to prefectural authorization to build a fire or barbecue).

You’ll be surrounded by the forest as well as by our animals (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and goats). We can’t rule out the possibility of a cat entering the cottage if you leave a door open, since two of our three cats are very friendly! Our two dogs, who are also very friendly, will only interact with you outdoors if you don’t mind. If so, they’ll stay in our adjoining garden. As for our four castrated goats, they have their own enclosure. They’ll enjoy your pets if you’d like to give them some.

Your pets are therefore welcome, provided they get along with the animals here without any problems or aggression.

Guest Access You’ll have 24-hour access to the game room. That way, you can finish your games even if one of the players needs an hour to analyze all possible strategies before taking their turn!

Other Notes We offer three types of stays: - Weekend: Friday at 7:00 PM through Sunday at 7:00 PM - Short week: Monday at 12:00 PM to Friday at 3:00 PM - Full week: Friday at 7:00 PM to Friday at 7:00 PM.

Rates for the weekend and the short week are the same. Please contact us regarding this, as the website does not account for it! If you’d like to stay for a different length of time, we’ll review requests on a case-by-case basis.
