Enjoy your stay in Anchorage with a private room in my 2 bedroom home. Modern shared kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer. The room is currently equipped with a comfy couch and a firm air mattress — and I will update the listing when I furnish it with a bed.

Northeast Anchorage has stunning views of the Chugach Mountains, and you can drink your coffee or tea on my covered front porch, or in the fenced backyard. My place is walking distance from Muldoon Road where you will find a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and a ton of local flavor. Ask for recommendations for waffles, Thai food, or sushi! There are lots of local trails within easy access, and I’m a quick drive away from Arctic Valley ski resort and outdoor recreation opportunities in Eagle River.

There is parking for one vehicle, and there are a number of People Mover bus lines within easy walking distance as well. Downtown Anchorage — where you will find gay nightlife (Mad Myrna’s and The Raven) — is a 10 minute drive away.

I have a fluffy, friendly husky-mix senior dog who lives here with me, and we’d both love to show you around this side of town and give you tips to explore Anchorage & Alaska at-large.
