Our house is in a very quiet, nice and safe neighborhood. The DFW airport is just 15 minutes drive away. The DART 401 Bus Line is 10 minutes walk away. Restaurants and Parks are within walking distance. You will access to our kitchen as well.
This room has a queen-size bed. It can fit 2 people very comfortably. It has a 32-inch TV that is connected to antenna so you can watch live TV (70+ local channels). It is also equipped with Chromecast so you can stream your favorite shows. The closet is empty so you are welcome to put your luggage and belongings there. The view from the window is nice (to the street).
One of us is generally at home to receive you when you arrive. If none of us is available, we do have self-check-in instructions. You will have a key to your room for the duration of your stay.
We have a home gym that you are welcome to use at your own risk (shown in one of the pictures). We ask that you don't drop any weight on the floor.
The toilet in the shared bathroom is installed with a bidet. You are welcomed to use it but you don't have to.
The actual bed sheets and comforter may be different from the pictures as we change out bed sheets and comforter every time someone moves out. We may have a couple other options if you don't like what you see.
We have a large side-by-side refrigerator dedicated for guests use--perfect for long-term guests.
Our dog, Loco, was a stray that we rescued. He is a timid dog that is curious but not aggressive. He is used to strangers but does not let strangers touch him. He only barks if someone is at the door, or if he sees some strangers through the windows.
Mail: You are welcomed to use our address to receive mail, especially if you are staying long term. We don't recommend receiving packages at our house unless you can be there to personally receive them when they are delivered. Though this is a safe neighborhood, we do have porch thieves.

This is a very beautiful and safe neighborhood. There are walking trails, parks, and a canal nearby. Restaurants and shops are close by, some are within walking distance, but if you drive, there are plenty of restaurants and shops you can access in 5-10 minutes.
The gayborhood where all the gay bars are located is in uptown Dallas by Cedar Springs Rd between Dallas North Tollway and Oak Lawn Ave. It is about 25 minutes drive from our house.
Joel drives for Lyft. If you don't have a car, as long as he is up and around, he would be happy to give you rides through Lyft.

Please respect other guests who want to sleep during that time. We also ask that you take off your shoes when you enter the house. There are shoe racks on the right when you enter. If you have clean indoor slippers, you are welcome to wear them inside the house.

My stay with Tze was great. The room was as described. The refrigerator for tenants was very large & the kitchen was set up to cook whatever. I didn't cook anything other than using his Keurig for my coffee. Tze greeted me upon arrival & spent almost 3 hours that evening just talking. He even fired up the hot tub one night for me. His home was located in a very nice area & I never had concern about my vehicle. There was easy access to all the areas I needed to go & would gladly stay again.

Tze and Joe are terrific and sweet. I forgot to bring my charger for my phone and was bold to knock their room door in the early morning. They were super cool and provided car charger for my phone, and even gave me support to pick my car without any hesitation. Definitely would like to come back and see you guys again. Well-done!!
