Centennial renovated house with good location

Rodrigo and his partner are the most chill, kind people. They responded immediately if I had any questions or suggestions even though a had little interaction with them during my stay. They are model hosts for all vacation stays. The location itself has a great, cozy layout with higher windows for privacy and is in a more authentic, rustic part of town and represents a truer life experience outside the tourist trap locations in Centro Merida. An easy 20 min walk into Centro is a safe and interesting view into the city’s rich past and architecture. The remodeled residence has everything a traveler could ask for as far as amenities, the WiFi and AC was fast and efficient, a corner market, safe access and was very clean and everything in working condition with a wardrobe space for suitcase and shelving to spread out wardrobe and contents. The bed is comfortable and I slept great, and for those who don’t sleep well with noise, the street is on a busy street, but not in a honking, congested traffic way, just cars going by. Nothing a sleep channel on YouTube or ear plugs wouldn’t take care of. Overall, I’d return next time.

Excellent choice to visit Mérida and the surrounding areas. Rodrigo is an attentive host and eager to help us with any useful information. The contact was very warm and that's ******** great about MB&B. Highly recommended without any hesitation. We will return.

The house is lovely-very tastefully renovated with a home-like feel. We were very comfortable staying there. Rodrigo is a caring and attentive host and we always felt we could contact him. The location is a good 20-minute walk to the historic centre, but on a bus route. Taxis are easy to find. We would definitely like to stay at Rodrigo's place again!
