About the Place

One bedroom with private bath available in modern architect designed home. Our house is in a very rural setting centrally located to all tourist sites in the MS Delta halfway between Memphis and New Orleans along the Amtrak route from Chicago to New Orleans. We have two dogs who love company. Swimming pool is available in the summer months.

The MS Delta is the birthplace of the blues. Our house is a great base camp for venturing out to the major blues sites, southern architecture, and many archeological sites. The nearby town of Greenwood is home to the Viking Range Corporation and boasts many fine local restaurants and bars. Being a small town there are no gay venues, but you will find it to be a gay friendly place. New Orleans and Memphis are a few hours away by train.

We have two dogs, so you must be dog friendly. The golden rule is we expect you to treat our place as you would yours. Smoking is allowed on the pool deck only. The kitchen is available for sharing.
