Rod was kindly available last minute to host me. His house is clean, and has a vintage feel with many art objects. Shoes are left by the front door. In the winter, you heat your room individually with a column heater, rather than central heating. The bed is modestly sized, with an electric blanket. Closet space is available but limited. Rod's place is really beautiful, the bed is super comfy and the linen is really very high quality. It is located in a great part of town waking distance to Balmain and Sydney Harbour.
