WELCOME TO ANNANDALE! 1: If you have questions or problems, please email or text me (I am unable to answer phone calls at work or while driving) 2: Red key is for the glass lobby door 3: To maintain building security, please make sure the glass lobby door closes/latches behind you 4: I have no key for the apartment’s door knob, so best not to lock it (unless you are a locksmith!) 5: Please leave balcony door hooked open or latched closed; otherwise it slams shut with gusto in a gust (I usually leave it hooked open when I go out, unless it’s super windy or frigid) 6: If there’s a possibility of rain, all windows should be closed 7: Smoking on balcony only, please, but don’t surprise those below by throwing your butts/ash overboard 8: Bins are hiding in the laundry: small for rubbish and large for combined recyclables 9: To empty bins, turn left as you leave the lobby 10: Help yourself to things in the kitchen, but please replace them with something more interesting!!! 11: If something is broken or not working properly, please let me know as soon as possible 12: Please ask me before using things in the cupboard next to the balcony door 13: Sheets, towels, blankets are in the kitchen – bottom shelf of lower cupboard opposite laundry door 14: Bathroom exhaust fan switch is in the kitchen – how convenient! (Not my fault...I inherited it). When using the shower, please turn on the exhaust fan for at least 5 minutes before/during after your shower to get rid of moisture that can cause mold 15: Lounge room remotes - large for TV and small for sound bar that needs to be powered on with the red button and then press mode until ARC is displayed. Phillips remote if for stereo system in cupboard under TV 16: User manuals for all appliances, etc are in the white plastic envelope in the bottom kitchen drawer 17: WIFI code is on the bottom of the modem, which is under the sofa 18: Heaters and fans should be turned off before bedtime and before you leave 19: If you are here mid-week, please water the plant on the balcony - you can’t drown it 20: Fuse box is in the cupboard above the microwave 21: Water main is in the bathroom behind the long mirror next to the toilet 22: Just prior to checking-out, please start a load of white sheets/towels for the cleaner to deal with on arrival 23: Check out time is noon, unless a later time has been pre-arranged 24: As you check out, please leave all keys on the kitchen bench (there is a $100 fee to replace) 25: Please enjoy my home! Jerry TRANSPORT • Bus to CBD - Walk 4 minutes to the NE corner of Booth St & Annandale St and board bus 470; a 25 minute ride to Martin Place via Central Station • Busses to CBD - 6 minute walk to Parramatta Road busses to CBD, then a 20 minute ride to Martin Place. NightRide operates hourly from Central/Railway Square between midnight – 6am • Nearest train station is Stanmore - a 15 minute walk, then 8 minute train ride to Central Station • Taxi to airport - 20-45 minutes, approximately $45, but Uber is cheaper
